Wiper motor replacement

In the next day or so I will be replacing my wiper motor as it has gotten to be a little flakey. Any hints that anyone is will to share before I do the job. I am using a Haynes reapair guide and Ford Service manual as references.

What kind of "erratic" behaviour are you experiencing?

Might want to try the turn signal/multipurpose arm first.

Had the same prob, wiper, then signals, and then blotto...

Replaced for 70bucks and 20minutes, works fine.

Already replaced both and they are working perfectly now.
