2000 Gt?

Since this is my first post I'd like to start by saying hello! seems like a real nice community here :biggrin: Anyway onto my question whats everyones thoughts on the 2000gt Eclipse? I'm currently in the market for a differnt car (I drive a 2000 Focus Zx3 right now) and a silver Eclipse caught my eye (and my wallet :tongue: )... but I'm also looking at a fully loaded black Svt Focus (3 door) and having a hard time making up my mind. The Eclipse has low miles (20k and looks new) and the Svt is of course new but which will perform better the auto v6 or the 6 speed 4 cylinder? (not really bothered about racing just want a fun drive) Also the Eclipse is way cheaper then the SVT and would allow me to have alot of money left over for mods/kits on the Eclipse. So my question is which would you rather drive and why? I know this is a Eclipse forum and the answers might be swayed a bit but any info is apperciated, again nice forums and thanks in advance.

Get a 97 gst eclipse. You can get a good one for under 10 thousand and it will b alot faster than the other 2 cars ur looking at?

I drove my 98 gst...then tested a 3g GT, there was NO comparision of the two...the 98 gst was way faster and handled better....no doubt in my mind...JMO
