I'm running a sale on these on on maxima.org I've done two of these in the past with excellent results. The price on these are $325 + shipping. I getting 5 units in about a week. More might follow but delivery is uncertain. Please see this thread on maxima.org to see the details, the past sales and installation instructions. You can also click my trader rating for past sales references. There are a few guys wanting me to save them one so chime in asap so you don't have to wait for another run. http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?threadid=231798

I apologize if this is in the wrong forum but this site's for sale is not make/model specific(from what I've seen)

Everyone doesn't necessarily want to do a flywheel replacement, there aren't many gains to be had (performance wise) plus it takes a lot of time and from what I've read up on it some of the 4th Gens will have problems (something about the harmonic balancer) with them once they are installed.

However, the flywheel does save a lot of wear and tear on your engine due to its' lighter weight (takes less energy to turn it) and your engine will rev faster. The real benefit comes with guys who are boosted and use the flywheel incorporation with lightweight pulley(s).

I'm certain that you knew all of this already but I thought I'd post it for some of the Noobs who may not be familiar with the flywheel's pros and cons.

That is a great deal though, I've heard of some of them running at $580.00 or slightly more.

Actually let me expand this a little. I've actually sold over 10 of these right now. And this is my 3rd sale. So these are actually selling fairly well. I think you are confusing the lightweight aluminum flywheel with the underdrive lightweight front crank pulley. Both have the same intentions but are two totally different things. The stock VQ30 unit is steel and weighs about 18-19lbs. The findanza unit is about 11.5lbs and is made out of billet aluminum. Since there is alot less mass for the engine to overcome when accelerating, it revs faster. The differences in the first 2 gears is amazing. 3rd is still great and 4-5th gear is just better. As you get closer to 1:1 in the gear ratios, the difference in performance over the stock units goes down. But even in 5th, you should be able to notice a difference.

There aren't any harmonic balancing problems because the units are balanced from fidanza and you are not removing any type of harmonic balancing from the engine anyway when stepping up to these units.

These units benefit na as well as boosted applications. Actually, I will say it will benefit a na application more because na hp is so hard to get. There are not that many ways to gain hp though mods and this is a good one to "free" up some power. I've driven a 4th gen with a Fidanza and Exedy oem style clutch. There were basicly no drivability problems. In theory there "should" be some drivability problems BUT since the VQ30 is such a great torque motor, it doesn't need the heavy flywheel for easy starts and easy shifts. It literally took 5 min to get used to it and I never even stalled it anyway. I don't drive 4-gens very often(I own a 3-gen VE 5sp)

If it's time to replace the clutch, it's a PERFECT time to upgrade to a Findaza unit. It's right there under the clutch anyway(REMEMBER NO NISSAN KEY VALUE CLUTH KITS!! THOSE ARE CRAP) If you are going OEM style clutch(vs ACT, Exedy, etc..) specifically ask for oem nissan parts. Don't and you will be sorry! Order the parts seperate!!!

Hope this post helps.

Yes, that post did help, I did have the two somewhat confused but I was aware of what benefits it will provide. I just wasn't sure about the Fidanza unit, it is obviously a nice mod to have as it is lighterweighted than the stock unit and you get instantaneous results soon as you hit the accelerator.

It's good to have guys like you here with these good deals and all and if I hadn't got into an accident recently I'd jump all over this deal but I'm gonna be setback by more than 1g until I get the ride fixed.
Thanks for the info though.
Peace
