Motortrend SUCKS!!!

Is it just me or does motortrend just plain suck? When they first tested the '03 Cobra last year they ran 12.8 1/4 mile. Then during last months issue they ran a 13.01. No big deal, only they changed the number from the better time to the worst on the time charts in the back of the magazine. I have never seen them do this to any other car.
In the newest issue, they said that their Evo in the one year test dusted an '03 Cobra. They make the Cobra look worse and worse and make the Evo look better and better. I think Motortrend is in Mitsubishi's pocket.

Motortrend has never really been a 'Ford' fan.

Yes, MotorTrend does suck and everyone who's familiar with it knows not to rely on the Magracer times that they put in their books.
Also everyone knows that MT only Blows on BMW's shiftknob.

MotorTrend does suck. They cant get decent times in a domestic but once they get their hands on an import theyre the ones with the fastest times recorded for it... Somethings strange about that... :sly:

Having actually ran my car at the track, and watched numerous
others, I only use the mags as a collective number.
Remember I can do a 12.6 at my track in Florida, but that's
a 13.1 in Colorado. Why the disparity? Elevation first and
foremost. The higher the elevation, the thiner the air or lack
of it for our air induced engines. The other factors are the
temps, not just the air-temp, but the track temp, humidity,
and the actual track conditions themselves.
Oh, then there's the driver and the car. So who knows...?

Car and driver is much more refined in my opinion, although they haven't always been sporting to the domestics.
At least they they know what a car has "The Mustang Gt has the best engine for its range" and what it doesn't "the mustangs really need a new platform"... ah yes... a new interior with it...

motor trend sucks.. i mean.. everybody knows that mustang and camaros are the fastest cars ever built.. i think they have all japanese people on the staff. and especially the executive editor i think he's a big fat sumo wrestler..and everybody knows..sumo wrestlers support japan's cars.. i mean.. i think what they do.. and this is my theory..is for all the mustangs and camaros they use sumo wrestlers to test them..but for the evo and sti they let jap midgets drive.. hence the disparity in 1/4 mile times.. but everybody knows that mustang cobras are the best..thats why the sti smoked it by a second in one of their track tests.. but you know what.. the sti has only 2.5 liters of displacement.. and there is no replacement for displacement.. i mean.. even if 4 cylinders on the mustang cobra vaporized into the nether worlds.. theoretically it would still be faster than the sti because ... the mustang would be running on more displacement.. well actually if only 3 of the cylinders were transported to alternate dimensions.. i mean.. maybe if it were like opposite day then the sti would beat the cobra or camaro..but on any other day of the year.. 364 days to be exact the cobra will win ...

i know i know.. i say there is a requisite IQ test that everyone has to take before they use this forum.. in that manner.. all the mustang drivers except for unit 502 would be eliminated from further spreading their misinformation and ad hominems....nobody with an IQ under 130 would be allowed to stay.... that should eliminate all the camaro drivers as well.. glory glory to the revolution... oh.. i wonder why unit502 drives a rustang.. pride over intellect maybe.. it's too bad.. he knows japanese cars.. and especially toyota are more reliable than his rustang... as much as he wants to deny it.. of course i've seen ignorant intellectually adept people before.... too many deeply implanted false knowledge structures of which a whole universe of contradictory evidence could not alter... could have come from the upbringing.. too many factors for speculation and not enough information.. kinda ridiculous for somebody with a 140 IQ to say a 90 model mustang is more reliable than a 93-2003 supra... oh well i've seen stranger things... like the mcgriddle....

Trolling around... i see... Motortrend sucks... plain and simple... I already mentioned it in the other forum... Motortrend said that the Mach 1s engine is the same engine from that of the 1995 Cobra R, that it had the IRS from the 01 Cobra eventhough its a Solid axle with 3.55s and that the Shaker wasnt functional... well... uhmm How can that be? Uhhh no this isnt true... I know Motortrend isnt this stupid are they? It cant be... They must be right!!! RIGHT?!!??!?
