:( can i just beat my car w/ a BFH

so yeah i went on a hunch yesterday that my fly wheel was warped causing me massive amounts of clutch chatter, and my pressure plate looked like it supported my thoery (i got pic but not the time to up load)

so yesterday i pulled the transmission, changed flywheels and put it back together... well that was just 7 hours of fucking useless labor!so the tranny comes off again today and i gotta tear her apart :(

i'm at a loss i dunno what to do guys... i got my tranny out and apart... so far it appears that the noise (a knocking) is coming from the 3/4 shift fork and syncro, it has a lot of play too it, looks like the fork is worn out... so i dunno if i should replace the fork (if i can find one) or buy another tranny

buy tranny....... trans rebuilds suck...

Well i would rebuild the tranny cause you'll know its like brand new.If you dont have the money then i'd just buy another tranny.

I had to make this decision a couple months ago. I decided to rebuild because like he said, you'll know itll be like new and be very reliable, and personally one of my favorite things about driving is shifting smoothly through the gears. It cost me $450 at a trans shop though:bricks1:
