I just bought a 97 accord and the driver side door wont lock from the inside. The only way to lock the door is to get out and lock it with the key from the outside. Does anybody know... is this a safety feature or is there something wrong with my door lock? I have power locks.

to lock the doors from the inside you have to pull the door handle out and push the lock button down. This is supposed to prevent lock-outs. :werd:

you have to watch when you are ulocking from the inside too. if you leave your keys in your car and just push up on the unlock, it will lock again and you might lock yourself out.
