Finally had the time to take pictures,of my HID setup, All i have to say is damn these things are bright! They light up the road much much much better than my Eurolite hyperbrites. The ballasts are from a 2003 nissan maxima/2003 350Z. The bulbs are 4300K Philips D2R. Soon I will save up for some 6000K bulbs which are more purple. Excuse the outside of my car, its during the process of getting painted so its looks very ugly. Here are the pics...http://members.aol.com/_ht_a/arizonapride/images/hid1.jpg

and yes very bright lights, but damn you need some clear corners, and it also looks like your headlights would be foggy.

Catz makes a kit that works with pretty much any car. Kinda pricey though... I think like $500 for low beams... and about $900 for high and low beams.

very easy. i dont condone stealing or anything but the new 2003 maximas headlights are the new hot item for theives. the headlights pop right out and everything you need for an hid install is there. the ballasts/bulbs everything.
my brother did an install on an s4 audi with these maxima headlights and he said it took him all of 5 minutes to install the hids...

ive been told that HIDs with projectors isnt that good of an idea. im sure it has been done before but from what ive heard and been told, the projectors hold in more heat than regular headlights. and since HID are so damn bright/hot, they will tend to melt the projectors b/c there is nowhere for that heat to escape

I am soooo getting HIDs. My friend put blue ones in his 93 Civic hatch, sold it to a freind of ours and then put purple ones in his 2003 GMC Sonoma. I asked him if he is going to be putting HIDs in all of his cars, and he said yes. I asked him if he is putting some in his 1991 4door Civic. Ofcourse, he said yes but they are going to be the plasma white (like Mercades have).
Here are the purple ones in his Sonoma.

I actually do have clear corners, but one of them broke on me while i was replacing a fender, I will buy clear corners again when i get my car finished, I'm gonna buy new headlights too, cause the ones I have now have ugly rust and grime inside of them, kinda make my headlights look yellow. I really want projectors, but I dont have the money for those now.
Marked001- You should go to ebay, thats where i got mine, type in "lexus ballast(s)" and you will get a lot of HID kits straight off of lexus cars and they usually come with bulbs too. Its a simple thing to install, just negative and positive. I also converted my D2R HID bulbs to 9006, it invovled cutting apart 9006 bulbs and shaving down the HID bulb and supergluing the "ring" around the HID bulb so that it had the 9006 fitment on it.
