i have a 91 civic hb. the car shakes like a mother fucker. but only when i get up to about 45 50, then when i get to about 70 and go around a bend in the road it will stop for about 1/2 mile or so then go right back to shaking again. like something clicked back into place. i know the problem is on the front pass side im just not sure of what it might be any insite???

get your car in the air and lock the front wheels and try to move the tire back and forth, if you kick the tire and it shakes a little then you need a tierod, its cheap and easy

then sh-t, i cant really help without seeing it, if you hear a clunk when you hit bumps its a tierod, usually, its not that common for the hubs to go, if you hammer it does it shake or is it just when your off the gas, and is it just going straight or is around the turns?

well jack it up and get a huge pry bar and try to move stuff, my car clunks from the passenger side when i hit bumps and i found it to be the stabalizer bushings on the front passenger side, so jack it, safety stands and try to move crap, then when some thing moves youve got it

you know what it could be something really simple, i bet its your tires, if one of the weights fell of it would cause that sort of problems, or did you dent the rim or something?, check for a missing weight, or get the tires balanced , i almost garuantee thats it

i drove it around and at slower speeds when i hit a bump theres like a vibration or clunk comeing from that tire. if it is the tierod i have never done one before. but im sure it will be no big deal. how do i know if its the inner or out. and do new tierods come with the ball joint?
