It probably is one and the same, for the base model anyways. Sux as there goes the once stand out class image.

Am I the only one who thinks the R33-4 lineup was too confusing, and the same with the next GT-R or whatever it will be? All these models dilute the brand, and the models start to compete with each other as they are too similar, but the consumer can find a suitable product with ease.

This is creditied as one of the reasons Nissan went broke, and who Renult made them cut from 7 differnt platforms down to a limit of I think 3?
Hence why the new GTR will be based on the 350Z, which shares the same platform as the V35 Skyline and the new Infinitys.
Then I believet he Primera and the Maxima share a platform, and then the Pulsar and Tino? etc share a platform.
And Iv seen more differnt R32 models than R33 and R34. Infact I thought they simpfied the model line up as they went on. They certianly dropped the 4cyl models so common yet not talked about in the R32 line up.

Interesting statement Moppie. I wonder, does any one know how much they planned on making off the R34? Did they undershoot it by alot. It seems like they invested alot of their money in it.

There are so many R32 models that i've lost track.
I've seen GT-R's, GTS's, GTS-t's, GTS-4's, GTE's and cr@ploads more.
Is there anyone who knows the name of every model?

My Dad has a R32 GTS-4 which is basicly a dumbed down GT-R. It's about as close to a GT-R as you can get but it is not a slow car. (fastest car i've ever driven)
