Driveaxles Problem

Hi,

I am in the process of swapping my D15 for a D16 SI.
I started last night and have removed the whole A/C system, radiator and fans, power steering pump, throttle cable, air intake system, drained all fluids, detached all vacumm hoses, detached all fuel lines.
One wquick question, the only main fuel line is from the fuel filter correct, I have already kinked it with a vice grips and stopped the fuel from flowing. But now I am at the step in which I have to detach the driveaxles.
Can anyone give me some tips on how to do this?
Will I need any special tools or can I easily do this by myself?
Thanks

on my crx what we did, was jack the car up and removed the wheels and the axle nuts, unbolted the lower ball joint, and slid the axel out from that end. on the back, we used a heavy duty screwdriver looking thing, and popped the axels out from the tranny.

Might want some airtools, that axle nut is a bitch to get off without 'em.

:werd: I broke two craftsman wrenches trying to get the nut out before I gave up and just took it to the shop..
