92 eclipse engine swap

I have a 92 eclipse GS with a 1.8L engine and i was wondering if i could swap a vtec or sumtin with more power into my car...........PLEASE HELP

You do realize VTEC is only in Honda engines right? Aside from the fact that you suggested putting a HONDA engine in your DSM:wink: I would say your best bet for power would be to swap to the 4G63. This would be an extensive job as you would have to install just about everything from a turbo car. The long block, exhaust, turbo, ECU, wire harness, fuel system, IC plumbing, tranny(mabey)..and I'm sure more things along the way. In all honestly it would be definitely easier and probably cheaper to just buy a 1G turbo.

where could i go to get the 4G63, he long block, exhaust, turbo, ECU, wire harness, fuel system, IC plumbing, tranny(mabey).. from a tubo car to swap into mine b/c i know it would be a big job to do and i would prefer not to buy another car b/c my car is a show car that ive put nearly 8 grand into so please help????????

Start looking in junkyards, for a wrecked GST, GSX, TSi that you can pull the motor and necessary acessories for a proper swap
