Whats up ppl.
I want to put some nitro in my maxima, but I still have some questions. 1st - Can I put NOS in an automatic ??? 2nd - What about the speed limiter in my car , what kind of damage would I cause by giving a 100 shot at the maximum speed of my car ??? (witch is 120mph) ??? 3rd - What other equipment do I need to run that bomb in my trunk ??? 4th - Do you know how much or where I could get some NOS at a good price ??? I got a "deal" for a 100 shot bottle , including installation and all the stuff I need to get going for 260$. Is that a good deal or bullshi* ???

The "shot" is adjustable. I wouldn't get anything smaller then a 10lb bottle (thats what I have) I have an auto and would get a window switch if I were you.

No, you don't need to reprogram the ECU. The fuel pressure is raised through the stock fuel pressure regulator. Even with a 100 shot, you won't be over 90psi fuel pressure, which is about where you need to think about upgrading, because the stock injectors can lock up at over 90psi.

How much would it cost me to put a turbo in my 96 maxima ??????????? TOTAL, so it runs like it's supposed to . Give me a round number and a place to get the parts so I could calculate that to perfection and write a long letter to santa , hehe.

Nope, gas milage is the same as before... You just get bad milage because you either have the pedal all the way down or not at all... :)

No one makes a Turbo for the Maxima, so you would have to go custom. Unless you have some serious hookups, it's gonna run you an arm, a leg, and maybe an ear too... Your looking at a minimum of $4-5000, plus your pretty much on your own as far as tuning goes, I'd say closer to $7-8000 to develope your own turbo kit and run it effectively on the Max.... :(

Steallin's Vortech one will cost you $3600-3900+ installation, unless you can do it yourself. Wait till this spring when a new company will introduce an S/C with a lot more potential. Expect the basic setup to run ya $2800 with gauges... :D
