Hello, i just heard this today. I have removed converters in the past and have had no problems as far as the cars computer messing up. I'm just wondering how had it would be messed up if the converter was removed from the 97-98 Grand Prix?

There is an O2 sensor mounted after the convertor now it measures how good the convertor works. Removing the convertor would cause your SES light to come on.

I figure the SES light would come on, but how bad will the car run? This is a 1997 GT Model Grand Prix BTW
