TransGo offers their shift improvement kit P/N 57930 SK 606 for the A604. This is a rebuild type kit and not designed to be installed "in the car".
This kit consists mainly of updated parts, so the degree of improvement you will feel depends upon the year of your original transmission. Supposedly there is an optional step or two for firming up the shifts a bit, but I don't know how much you can expect from that.
If your A604 is a 1995 or newer, you might have better luck slipping a friendly Chrysler tech a double sawbuck to hook up an OBDII programmer and bump up your line pressure and shift points a bit.
Good luck! Carl

Thanks! I'll check that out. There was a time when I wasn't afraid to open an automatic transmission, but that was before the days when computers became integrated with the mechanics. Give me an old GM TH350 or 400, and I'll make it tight, but these new front wheel drive configurations I'm just a little hesitant to open up.
