I am asking this question because I really have no idea as to what the answer might be. I currently own very clean 77 firebird (which means its smog legal) with a new chevy 350, brand new silver paint job, new transmission, cragar street star rims, alpine stereo w/amp, and with a clean interior. I would like to sell this car and I have absolutely no idea what the selling price should be? I am just looking for a poll on what you think I can get for this car in California during an August Good Guys car show in Pleasanton, CA. Thanks for any answers I get back!!

Maybe $8,000 to $12,000 if it is immaculate. I like that model.

Boy, thats a tough one to try and put a price to. I would imagine that its going to be less then 10K. You may consider going on www.ls1.com and look around the for sale section to see what other cars are going for that might be similiar to yours.

It must just be in my area, but that car doesn't bring a lot in my area. Maybe 6 grand for one in mint condition, and I mean mint like all original spotless condition. 3K for one in good condition.
My friend bought a 77 TA in relatively good condition for 1200. Just needs a paint job really because in had a loose cover on it flapping around wore the paint on the roof and rear fenders on the top. no rust, runs great. it has a 400, auto, hurst shifter, shaker hood, it's really nice. It was sitting to like 2 years, the guy just wanted to get rid of it. So my friend went up, changed the oil and anti-freeze, put some gas in, and after a few cranks started right up and has been running great for 2 months now. It was the deal of a lifetime, the guy selling thought the engine was no good. If he knew he probably would have sold it for atleast 2 grand instead. I wish I would have had the money to buy it, it is my favorite year trans am.

I would say about 7K in the Cal area unless it has something special. Pick up and issue of Chevy and Corvette trader. Compare the prices

Honestly, you're for a '77 Firebird (non-TA) with the SBC, you're probably looking in the $3000-5000 range. A base model car is just not going to bring in much interest.
