Could someone please help me on rim sizes??

I was just wondering if anyone on here can tell me if 20" rims will fit on my 1991 Jimmy. I've had ppl tell me that 18's will only fit. I really dont want to have to do any modifications, so i if anyone could tell me if 20's fit and wont rub i would appreciate it. Thanks...
