My 1969 Camaro is coming along nicely, just got to do the finishing bits. Sorry for the crappy photos.

USAF tan interior and light metallic blue exterior. Again I know the pictures are crappy, I'll take better ones later.

I agree, the colour looks great. Always loved that Camaro shape - what kit is it?

Thanks again, the kit is Revells 1969 Camaro Convertible (http://www.revell-monogram.com/store/ModelDetail.cfm?Id=255&SubjectId=9&SkillId=0&ScaleId=0&TypeId=0&StartRow=25&FromSearch=1) Excellent kit, nice decals and great detail. Instructions include paint colour names and interior colour names. Also explains the Hockey, Rallye & Pin stripes. My engine isn't the 396 though it is out of an Oldsmobile 4-4-2 with a Revell Dodge Challenger T/A high rise manifold & carbies and air filters from a Revell Dodge Superbee.

Thanks all, 454SS the colour, as stated before is Tamiya light metallic blue, I got it from my hobby store. The car is in progress, never said it was done. I'd have better pictures if it was.

Hey thanks again. Heres a picture that sort of shows the blue more, nearly every light in my house is a frosted bulb so it makes it look pale. Hope this one looks better, crap picture again but I've taken so many today it's all you'll get.
The first picture makes the paint look thin or watery but it isn't it's a full coat that covers the whole thing.

Guess what, I was going to take my high rise manifold from my Revell 70 Challenge T/A too! What a coincidence! :) Also with the whole double-carb business with 2 air filters, I was planning to do the same thing! But now I'll just go with 2 carbs, no filters. I may scratch-build a manifold, but we'll see, btw I'm using a 396 in mine.
Very nice build up going on! I like the style you are going for. Let's see this finished!

Thanks Malcolm! I didn't know you had a `70 T/A  You finished it yet, I'd love to see another one!
I found the air filters and carbies on the high rise work really well with the bonnet! The bonnet just clears the filters by about 1mm, and the engine looks very filling in the engine bay!
