just wondering

i am thinking of painting a bunch of stuff in my int., how dependable is that int. vynal spray paint?

hey man, all I did was put some paint thinner on the vinyl before I painted, let it dry out really good, wiped off the white residue, and sprayed that mofo, just make sure you get enough of the clear coat on evenly or I hear it will crack really bad Heres what mine looks like...

I used the dye stuff that impregnates the plastic/vinyl and it works a dream. I had to replace a power window control/door handly surround and here they only came in grey and blue - the SiR's interior is black. The dye paint got well and truly into the plastic and it doesn't come off and even matches the interior like a dream.

..just make sure you use something removable, b/c you will get sick of it... heavy contrast is not your friend...

I personally think that a painted interior is kinda silly...but to each his own.

i painted my interior red...big freakin mistake...it got too anoying hurt my eyes after long trips...so i cut it down to a graphite/gunmetal color.

oh and not just the maroon interior i had the brown interior and that was fugly which drove me to paint it, i wish i wouldve never gotten the brown dx, wish i wouldve looked more.

im kinda upset that i painted my interior shit, it looks like ass now that i look back on it.

Yeah I do sometimes, but its something I live with. I love the look of it, and the glare is something I put up with to have something I really like. Its not that big of a deal, I can still see, but you sounded like you know a way to get around the glare, or some way to block it....do you or were you just noticing all my imperfections?

anyone notice the different look on the guage cluster cover in that white interior picture? look at the part he painted white, and the part he left black. i want one that looks like that

I have that ass ugly burgandy interior.....my car is in the process of getting a black interior with some parts painted blue.....I have 2 of the doors painted, just need to get some velour to recover the cloth section than I can do the other 2 doors.
