the animatrix

i just bought and watched this. it was really cool. what do you think and what was yur favorite story? i liked the second renaissance part 1 and 2.

yea those two are amazing i like most of them other than the last one where they brainwash machines and the running one those were poo.

The one where they brainwash machines was alright i thought. i didn't like the one about the olympic runner.

i thought the runner one was the best

just my opinion but why'd you like the runner one?

i haven't seen it and was thinking about renting it, i know there's like 9 short stories, is it kind of like final fantasy?

its based on the whole idea of the matrix. it shows how the matrix began and tells storys about how sum humans found out they were livin in the matrix. in my opinion it is worth renting.:bigthumb:

have you seen the matrix? cause i guess it would make sense even if you haven't though.

i didn't get to the threaters to see the second movie so i can't wait for it to come out on dvd. too bad the third doesn't come out til like november.

Well the director for Cowboy Bebop did two of those stories...and the Aeon Flux guy (for those of you who remember) did one. You can tell their drawing styles right off the bat. Same with Square's awesome CGI. I thought it was overall good, I wouldn't buy it though. The soundtrack is pretty nice too...has a track by Alias (good DJ in the hiphop realm). It's definitely a must-watch though! :bigthumb:

i bought it for $20 and it was worth it. i'm not really that much of a matrix fan either so if you like the matrix you would probably like it quite a bit.

Bought it , have it. Its a bit wierd. I could live without the runner story , however. And the one where they brainwash machines......what happens at the end? I'm not real clear on that. Is the girls mind now in the machines body ???? :confused:

Definitely worth it for the Matrix fan. Picked mine up for $17 at Costco. Renaisance I&II were key but Kid Story could be the most important for Matrix Revolutions.
