Alternator problem??

The alternator does not put out any voltage. I cannot imagine it would dead completely, as least from my previous experiences with alternators. Is there a fuse somewhere, or maybe a link? Does the alternator have a replaceable board such as GM uses? Any way to isolate/troubleshoot to ensure it is the alernator prior to replacing? Thanks in advance for your help. I should add that I do not get a battery light at all.

remove the alternator and have it checked at a local parts store. the battery is probably dead too, u may want to get it recharged or just get a new one.
