infiniti and nissan

i have a couple questions about the whole "infiniti-nissan" thing... first off i'm not new, i used to be known as "hondasuck" but that's just disrespectful, so i'm not any more, anyway the infiniti M30 is a RWD 3.0 liter... it also seems VERY similar to the 240SX i'm guessing that the M30 is the infiniti version of the 240SX... if this is true, could you put a 5spd from the 240 into the M30? or if not, could you put the 3.0 from the M30 into a 240? i dunno it just seems like it would be way different being that everyone is doing the SR20 thing now... maybe a DUMB question but then again maybe not... and if it can be done but there is some obvious reason that NO ONE is doing it, please feel free to tie me down and beat me.. thanks in advance

first of all, no, the M30 is NOT an Infiniti version of the 240SX. the M30 is an Infiniti version of the Japan-only Nissan Leopard. the VG30 CAN be put into the 240SX, but if you're going to do that, then why not grab the VG30ET from a Z31 300ZX instead and get turbo off the bat?

i doubt the KA24 240SX 5-speed would line up with a VG30, but again, you could probably used a 5-speed from a 300ZX for an M30.
