cold air intake.?

i dont kno much about cold air intakes, i just wanted to know what kind would fit my 95 240sx. prices? online site??

make sure you get the extension, otherwise don't get it at all, as just the intake will be detrimental to performance.

I currently have a KA, but am thinking about possibly a SR or RB swap.

If I bought this Injen intake, would it swap onto an SR or RB.

Or should I buy a nice cone filter and do all the tubing custom?

you know this whole post is retarded. Cold air intakes are usually not worth it.

Unless Iceman made an intake for our cars. All the availible brands are all aluminum which will actually hard performance after the car is warm, you know like in the real world, not on a Dyno. The aluminum will actuall heat the intake charge due to heat soak.

If a manufacturer would make a CAI system in Sillicone (like Samco) then that would be more ideal.

this is all a generality,
Our cars need all possible to get more air through the MAF no matter what temp it is when it finally hits the camber

not that true... i noticed a HUGE boost in speed with my cai and cae

I disagree with anyone saying AEM is Ricey.I've crewed for a Race Team Sponserd by AEM, they are the only CAI company I've ever seen sponsering A ROAD RACE team. These guys won Divers,Team, and Manufacture championships, they were the only car running the intake, which gave them a slight power edge over the other teams.

So if winning championships is ricey, I wanna be a ricer!:bigthumb:

hey AEM is a great company id say alot better then Injen. They just have shit for nissans. Just because they make stuff for the :gay: civic dont mean the company its :greddy2: too :bloated:

And i dont know about Mynismo but normaly your not gona even notice much of anything exept your car will be louder, i guess louder is faster :icon16:

no wonder you don't notice a power increase... you are using AEM and you are NOT USING A COLD AIR EXTENSION

if you do not use the extension an intake is completely useless

To the people that say buying an intake is a waste of money....how about it looks much nicer than anything I could come up with, provides proven power gains, and saves me lot of time trying to make some half-assed one myself? To me that is worth a few extra bucks...

i agree. its just too time consuming to make your own.

if you don't have anything else to do go for it, but it will be kinda tough.

believe it or not, i think those cars are insanely fast. they have absolutly huge tires. i think they try to screw around with fast cars on the street for kicks... haha that would be tite.

check out that exhaust on the car to the left. yes, it is the thing sticking up about 12 feet above his car. LOL

the exhaust pipe looks like an antenna so therefore makes it look like an RC car.
