...and what a gem it is!!!
Found myself itching to get one of these the other day, strangely after seeing Jim Carey driving around in a Datsun 240 in Bruce Almighty:dunno: Had to get the one with engine and quickly found one on ebay being sold by 'Sangpolly'. This is the first time i've purchased anything from her, i've heard several positive comments from people before and now i can highly recommend her for cheap kits and fast shipping:bigthumb:

Err, put it on the pile of 'to do's' with the others! Don't know really, don't know a great deal about these cars to be honest. It would be nice to do some sort of accessory for them but not sure what, perhap bolt on wheel arches or such like, i'm open to suggestions and would appreciate any pics links.
Also could someone confirm/explain, are the Nissan and Datsun 240's the same?

are the Nissan and Datsun 240's the same? Yes they are; "Datsun" changed to "Nissan" in the early '80's I believe. In the 'States we had "Datsun" the rest of the world had "Nissan" I'm not 100% positive on the exact circumstances but I'm not too far off.

South Africa had Datsun too....as did a lot of the world, the change was a corporate image change I think....
All the rally cars were Datsun's.
I have a 240Z with full engine detail Chris, it's the Tamiya 1/12 Safari kit, excellent all round detail too
I look forward to seeing this one from you:wink:

In Hong Kong. Do a search on ebay members, she has nothing for sale at mo which is odd. She normally has a stack of stuff available.

Cheers Fly, I'll have to look her up.
I've bought from someone by the alias 'bates141' who is also based in HK. His prices are pretty reasonable and can get hold of some OOP stuff (especially Fujimi stuff), the last was a Tamiya 500SEC Lorinser for about £10GBP.
