im looking at a Dodge Intrepid for my first car.Its a 95 with ~70,000 miles for $3000. VIN search tells me its been a rental and/or lease car.other than that its clean.I was wondering if this is a good car for simple transportation needs.I asked my friend about it and he said to get a Sentra or Accord, but they are more expensive and i dont want to spend the mojority of my money on this.if needed i will post more details.just encase you didnt get the Question.Shoiuld i get this car.

I caution against getting any car that was a leased or rental car. Unless you were the person leasing it, you're just asking for trouble and rentals should be avoided like the plague. If you can find an Intrepid with those kind of miles that’s not a lease/rental then it is a pretty good deal.
