Hormel sues over SPAM!

Hormel the makers of the grand pork product that is Spam is suing a company called SpamArrest that is targeted against stopping internet SPAM. Hormel claims that people would confuse this company with their product and it claims it will hurt their sales. Like Spam needs any help with that!

LOL This is as good as Spike Lee suing against TNN becoming Spike TV...because it could damage his reputation and prestige. Of what prestige he speaks I am not sure, I just know he needs to crawl back under the rock from which he came :lol2:

If they are so idiotic to think that everythime the word SPAM is used we automatically think of the Hormel product, they need help. I have no problem confusing shit food and shit email thanks :D

My wife likes Spam. Straight out of the can. Its one of the few things about her I just don't understand at all :confused:

This reminds me of "phat" and "def" being trademarked, or copyrighted, by Russel Simmons. I think I saw him on Conan Obrien one night & he said that if anyone uses the word "phat" they need his permission & to pay him a huge fee... Seeing as how http://www.phat.com isn't directed to anything related to "Phat Farm" I don't think it's true...
