I recently turbo charged my gsr. I've upgraded the fuel system with a external pump, fmu and a missing link. however, i've been reading that this is a really cheap and inefficient way to increase fuel. could anyonw tell my why and what a better alternative would be.....thanks..

something around 255 lph and 55-60psi. A walboro fuel pump is what you want....it will do the job...it is what a large portion of the viper s/c crowd are running...

thanks for responding. i already have an efficient fuel pump running. but i was wondering about the computer and what other methods there are to regulating fuel.besides the missing link.

Dude the missing link sucks. It really depends on how much you plan to boost now and in the future. You should have AT LEAST the pump, fmu, you can use missing link, larger injectors, and a rail wouldn't hurt. But it depends on your goals. I'd say that above is safe for a good 8 psi. 8-15 psi you might want to look into something like a piggyback (greddy e-manage), or maybe the apexi safc with hack. Above 15psi you would want to consider a standalone (AEM, Hondata, etc) but that will put a dent in you wallet. Fuel management is the last corner you want to cut with a turbo. Well thats what I suggest, of course you could push your luck with a half assed setup, but trust me from experience, you don't want to do that.

thats what i've been reading. its just hard to get a way form that half ass setup cause its soo cheap. but your right. its now worth blowing the turbo. i want to be able to boost about 15 so i'll probable get bigger injectors and fuel rails. tahnks for the input.....
