edelbrock type-R throttle body.....

has anyone had any experience with the edelbrock type r TB?

Not edelbrock but i did try the regular type r tb. I just think that edelbrock is a polished and bigger bore type r tb. You'd be fine with a regular type r. Its almost the same shit. Just dont go 68-70 mm.

whats wrong with 68-70?? Isnt a regular type r like 65-68 something like that?

Its too big, you gonna lose torque. Type r is 64 mm. You can get your b16 tb bore out that much.

ok so i put that edelbrock TB on a GSR....the throttle body was made to work with a GSR and i have a skunk2 intake manifold on it using the type r throttle bracket and cable.... How do i get the rotor on the butterfly to work with the type r cable?

Those big tb are good for turbo set up only. I couldn't help you on the second question. Sorry...
