want to turbo or supercharge my car so wich one

i want to do some forced induction on my car but don't know what turbo kit to get or should i just supercharge it

well, there are advantages and disadvantages of both the supercharger and turbo. one is better than the other in some respects. is yours the 5 speed or SS? if SS, forget about even modding your car, just get a new one, or trade for a 5 speed. :p. seriously though, too many horror stories about the SS tranny. still a nice car stock, but IMO not worth putting any money into as far as aftermarket.

turbo - more tunable, potential for more power, non-parasitic, higher maintenance overall, relatively less reliable

jrsc - instant boost, more usable power for a daily driver, doesn't require as much attention in terms of maintenance, generally more reliable, not nearly as flexible as the turbo, parasitic,

if yours was the SH, i'd easily recommend the jrsc. but since yours is a base, the decision isn't so black and white. i've heard great things about the fmax kit, not so great stuff about the greddy surprisingly. the jrsc is your only choice for supercharger, it's good if you don't care to be the fastest thing on the road. you'd still be quick, but the potential for more power is much more limited than with a turbo. good luck and let us know what you decide.

i think i'll turbo it w/f-max that is alot of power on stock internals i think it's like 275 at the wheels that's whats advertised and my car is a five speed what kind of problems has any person heard of with the greddy
