Car: 97 Camaro RS 30th Anniversary Edition. 3800 II series engine.
Okay I know that i am a n00b with cars...I got my camaro a few weeks ago and I don't know anything about engines, but I want to learn.
Which specific engine mods can I add at first to my stock engine? I do not have loads of cash so which ones should i get hat would noticeably improve performance but not be really expensive? By expensive i mean parts under 400-500 dollars. Thanks for the help guys.

Based on what i've seen for Hondas, these should float your boat:
Short Ram or Cold Air intake
performance exhaust header
larger diameter exhaust piping, hi-flow catalytic converter, "glasscan" exhaust (the fat ones that make more noise)
these'll fetch some more HP, but they won't make your car as fast as the 5.7L V8. The Air intake alone could add up to 20 HP, though.

Are there any brands that you would recommend? I hear that K&N is good, but are there any engine compatibility issues i should be aware of...like this part not fitting in this slot?
Also, what kind of places will dyno tune my car?

AEM has a good reputation but are expensive. I've also heard good things about the generic brands found on eBay - they are extremely cheap.
I don't know about the dyno.
