Does your vehicle come equipped with electronic or mechanical fuel
injection ? Also if it is electronically injected, does the vehicle have a
vacuum sensitive fuel pressure regulator in the engine compartment?


this is what a guy at NOS e-mailed to me after i asked him about putting nitrous in my tib.... heaven forbid he should check on it...... but im not sure about this stuff that he's saying, i could go look it up to make sure but im kinda lazy and don't know where to go look..... i know it's electronically injected (pretty sure) but im not sure about the second part, can anybody help me out here?

i have a full zex nitrous kit running with a 75 shot in my 01 tiburon go to sharkracing.com its 529 shipped it ties into your pressure regulator to enrich your fuel air mix so it is not lean therefore reduses the chance you will melt some parts so the zex kit is very good its one of the best on the market.

can you get a bigger shot and still keep most of your stock parts?

i know some of my friends that put a 100 hp shot in their cars, it was a honda s2000 and a honda civic si, and the s2000's engine blew and threw rods as well as the civics, i would not recomend it just because a 75 shot is a hell of a pull to begin with and if you do not reinforce anything in your engine then you are asking for it to go.

My friend has a 97 Tib FX and runs a 70 shot to it and ran 15.2 at track not bad for a 4 banger

the I4 is electronically injected the v6 has a fuel pressure regulator
also the I4 doesnt have a distributor
