thump noise

okay when i rev my engine in netrual to about 5000 or lower i get a thump from the engine bay mind you this only happens when i rev no other time.

Did u try having someone examine your engine bay closely while you rev your motor or vice-versa so you can pinpoint where that thumping sound is coming from? try that and repost, could be your mounts too...

I'd say if you cant tell where the thumping sound is coming from, maybe your stereo's too loud.:bloated:

im going to get a diganostic done soon so maybe that will tell me.

Sounds like a bad motor mount to me, but it was a pretty vague description.

But can you determine if the thump happens when you hit the gas, or does the thump happen while the engine is at higher rpms?

the thump only happens when i rev the engine it doesn't happen at high rpm driving :confused:
