Sometimes the pictures are better than the articles, but I really like getting a car magazine once a week, like today. :D The new Infiniti Q is on the cover. Last week was the new Porsche GT2 Turbo. Nice.
I wish the 12 pages or so of ads would change frm time to time. I did see an ad from Motorex selling Skylines in there once.

Is it worth the money?
Do you benefit at all by having a weekly?

Well, I like it. Like I said, the pictures are great, but the articles aren't the best ever. They're still decent, though. They keep the price down by having about 15 pages of classified ads in every issue.
Another bonus: they have TV listings for the following weekend. They list just about every motorsport and automotive review broadcast for Fri thru Sun. That's how I figure out when rally racing is on TV! :D

Yuppo! Half the mag is ad's. I truly feel it is a waste of money but I get a year for $19.95 and couldn't pass it up. It is also very pleasant to catch some unexpected breaking auto news before the big boys do. :)

I think they do focus more attention, Its an entertaining mag, not exactly what i'm looking for, but I can see the appeal. they are pretty pictures. I find my entertainment in driving, I test drove the new Lexus IS sport design, yeah baby that was entertainment, I think i'm gonna get one...

Did you see where they quoted me a couple of weeks back? Did you?:frog:
Actually, the second time I got my name in AW in the Fast Poll; I submit entries often. Either they exclude folks who've been mentioned recently, or I'm not nearly as witty as I think I am.:bloated:
Escape Roads, then But Wait There's More, back to the front for the articles, and skip the race results. Doesn't take long to read. SAdly, the classifieds aren't nearly as interesting as they were 25 years ago.

boy o boy, larry just said he is old! larry, remember when autoweek was news paper form? it still has stuff that is better then the other magizines that post stories from 3 months ago. some issues are better then others, but i can read it cover to cover and still feel informed. plus i can dream in their classifieds for my lotto car!

Oh, yeah. I recall the pictures in the race coverage of Lyn St. James when she used to race a Spridget. :flash:
Just out of college, I subscribed to seven car mags, and bought a 5-drawer file cabinet and swore to keep all of my car mags; very quickly, the AutoWeeks got out of control.
And yes, I feel old (coming up on 47).:frog:

I like getting the mag every week. Then you don't just look through it all at once at the begin of the month, then you have nothing to read. This way is way better. And it seems like you get way more.
