1986 Fuel Tank Selector Valve

My 1986 C10 Silverado has dual fuel tanks. The OEM fuel tank selector valve (not the switch) has failed. The OEM valve has 1/4" fuel return lines. The replacement U7000, U7001, FV 5, 8F1312, FSV2A/K, 42-159 all have 5/16" return line nipples. The associated steel lines are 1/4". The above valves cannot be installed in place of the OEM valve. Is there a correct replacement fuel tank selector valve that has 1/4" fuel return lines to match the OEM valve?

I went to a Chevy dealership (Hendricks) and spent about 15 minutes working with a parts guy and came up with the following: The OEM part number for the valve with the 3/8"-1/4" nipples is 14029228 which is discontinued. If you can't find one of these you have to re-engineer the selector valve. The space is very limited so good luck with that. Pollak made a replacement but that is also discontinued. I don't know what the Pollak part number is but I purchased one off Ebay. Apparently, these are unobtanium and are solid gold- based on the price. Even so, my time is worth money and I chose to pass on the re-engineering approach.
