OMG I CANT BELEIVE I DIDN'T LISTEN TO YOU ALL BEFORE! I WENT TOUT AND GOT SOME BRAKE FLUID TODAY TO STRIP MY 180SX AND TOOK OFF 5 HEAVY COATS!! IM SO HAPPY, THANKS ALOT!:bigthumb: :worshippy

Yup, the stuff is ideal for the job.
I leave the shell in the stuff for 1 week and it is stripped down to the plastic. I find that Castrol is the best.
Be careful, as it has a tendency to weaken the parts stuck on with liquid cement.

Yea i tyred it on my dodge for the frist time not to long ago. worked good but, i needed to sand some of it off cuz it didnt take it off:frown:

i think after the paint is removed... it better to soak it in soapy water.... cos the fluid is damn oily....

ya i bought the ceap brake fluid from 99 CENTS store and after i left my skyline to soak in it for about a week the paint still didnt come off the roof or the whole left side, so i had to get some CSC to finish it up

The brake fluid trick avoids a lot of extra kit buying. Way to go!

I find Trust Dot 4 brake fluid works quite well.

Yeah dot 4 works ok to me as well.. and i can't find anything worse (read: cheaper) than dot 4 here in NZ :rolleyes: :frown:
