Tires for 2003 4Runner

I need better off road tires than the stock 265/65-17. I have not been able to find much. Will a 265/70-17 work without any rubbing or other problems. There are a lot in 265/70-17 size.

Here are the specs on the Bridgestone Dueler D684 in your stock size:

Section Width........ 10.4
Tread Width.......... 7.2
Overall Diameter..... 30.4


Here are the specs on the Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo in the 265/70-17 size:

Section Width........ 10.6
Tread Width.......... 7.8
Overall Diameter..... 31.7


So for example, if you put your hand on the inside shoulder of your current tire and your knuckle immediately runs into a suspension component than you've have no additional clearance to the inside.

Based the on the specs, if you have clearance at the top of wheel well, this size is probably worth running as a custom fitment. We don't guarantee fitment on custom fitments but as long as the tire is in 100% new condition and has not been driven on you can call our Customer Service Group within 30 days of shipment, get an RA Number and ship back for credit less freight.
