Omg!!!

well i just came home from Summer Slam in Englishtown, NJ and i just saw my first ever Skyline :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: it was an electron blue (R34 color) R33. man i never in my wildest dreams thought that the R33 would be so damn beautiful :bigthumb: i also saw many other awsome cars such as a Team Orange S13 drift car :iceslolan Stephen Papadakas :bigthumb: worlds fastest new generation WRX (and its street legal :eek: ) and twin 6 sec toyota solaras. many many other but i want to know how many of you have ever seen a real life Skyline?

damn i forgot about the show :mad: :mad: i like about 3 miles away from englishtown raceway park....no wonder why i saw so many beautiful cars yesterday and today.....going down rt 18.

if i were you, i would DEFINITLEY go down there right now, thee still will be some awsome cars there, i would be there right now also but my cousin got real sick and we needded to leave around 1:30 rioght when the real races began :frown:

that must have been cool. I've seen an R33 with a veilside kit on it up in New Hapshire :bigthumb:

Ahhh dammit, I wish I knew there was a car show around here.

I helped a guy take the turbo's off his R32, those are some bigass turbos. The guy didn't speak a word of english, so it was really weird.

The blue R34 color is called Bayside Blue:wink:

naa, no Skylines, but I did see a Lotus Espirit with the V8, Red Viper, and a Black 93 Supra goin down the road in a cousins friends CRX, them kids down in kansas city are crazy, we ended up racing a guy on the street and went to 95 mph, it was kinda cool but I'd never do it cuz after we slowed back down to about 60 we seen a cop, then a guy with a supercharged mustang was at a parking lot and we looked at that, then quite a few Camaro's/Firebirds, and some other ricers. Actually a pretty fun weekend.

Silly yanks.

At work the other day we had a Red Espirt GT V8 sitting on the hoist, minus its G/box, and yellow one sitting under it waiting for a new alternator, while the unit next door had a BRAND new black one that had just arriaved to go on sale. Sitting behind it was a new S2 Elise, and beside that between the 2+2 Elan and S4 7 was an older S1 Elise.

And Right across the road from me the neighbors have a GT-T R34 in a very nice Black, with some subtle body kit on it, and the ppl down the street have a recently imported RS Stagea (GTR Skyline in a Wagon body with Cefiro frount end).
And at work today I must have seen at least 20 differt skylines, ranging from an old R30 to the neighbors R34 and including an R33 GTR, and an R32 GTE with a fake GTR body kit.
Its a skyline, its just another very fast, very efficant Japanese car. They make lots of them.

hehe i got my share before.....alot of the cars pulled over into a near by mall so i happen to see it while driving and i pulled in and checked them out......did you see that like completely orange idk what it was but everything was shaved..:icon16:

Yah theyre quick but still, theyre like Subaru RX's, just cause its got a big tough brother they think theirs is the shit, same thing with lancers....

Skylines- flag em- thier just Japper Saloons/Sports Coupes- saw them all the time- I got more excited when I saw a Peugeot or a Corolla or something unexciting like that- I don't see what teh big deal about them is- I did laps with a Jensen FF on Saturday- now THAT is something to be exited about- and far rarer than any Skylines.


Point is I don't see why one should get more excited about a Skyline than an I6 3-series Bimmer (Nicer car if it aint a GTR)- both are RWD coupes/saloons, both have I6's blah blah blah.

I see skylines everyday even more on weekends.

Umm, I see skylines on a daily basis :biggrin: Have only ever seen 4 R34s in person though, sat in one though :sunglasse

I, as with all the other New Zealandaustralasains, see Skylines on regualr basis. I think they are common and ugly.

In fact, one got stuck in the snow/ice yesterday up the top of the Rimutakas. This is while my mates 90 Mazda 323 is going on the same patch and having no difficulty.

Stupid, usless, ugly. That my friends sums up a Skyline.

thanks for stepin up. u guys have seen and see SKlyine everyday so of course theyre nothing special to u. i bet if we bring a car down there that there are rarely any of, you will freak over them. now ive been wanting to see a skyline for my entire life, and since they are only sold in Cali at motorex, its very very hard to catch on up here in the northeast, i was glad that this guy drove to Nj, all te way from Cali. and i hope now i can see a R34

I live in Redmond, WA, the home of Microsoft, and this Japanese family just moved in up the street from me, I guess the man of the house just got transfered to the US location of microsoft (he was previously at the japanese location) and they brought some ugly ass mini van looking thing with them a toyota i think it is, and..... A silver R33 skyline! I have only seen it once, when they brought it in on the truck, and I havent seen the guy driving it or it outside their house either. Ill try to get some pics eventually, and get the inside scoop from the owner! Im sure he had to go through hell to get it over here, considering how much a bitch customs and stuff is these days.

That would be the GT-T :p But you're right, the GT-R looks waaaaay better than its non-RB26 cousins.

They're quite a few around the London area, R32s, R33 and most importantly R34s! :tongue:

Well, my best friend just moved to Japan and he's rubbing in on how he's seeing Silvias, Skylines, xb's and xa's, and other the other cool schiz I've seen only in magazines! :mad:

Actually the color you saw was Champion Blue and not an R34 color. I see that car everyday, it's in my garage!!!! :bigthumb:
