2024 Express Activate Cruise Control

I have a 2024 Express that does not have factory cruise control. I watched a video on youtube on a slightly older van that all you have to do is replace the steering wheel with one with the buttons and cruise will start working. I did that and it still won’t work on this van. Is this something that can be programmed to work?
