P1404

The old 99 GTP popped a P1404 today. Apparently it indicates EGR valve pintle is not closing completely but also read that it may be another fault, like MAP sensor, causing it. My step first will likely be to clean EGR valve with carb cleaner this weekend unless I hear a better idea.

Anyone have experience with this code?
