Folds in tinting

I'm working on installing window tinting. Getting rid of little folds is like wack-a-mole. Does this improve after a few hours/days?

If you're asking whether a crease in the tint from when squeegeeing out the water will improve, sure, after a few days in the sun it will improve, but there will always be a noticeable line from the crease. The only way to fix that is to take the tint off, clean the window, and apply a new piece of film very carefully. Small bubbles on the other hand, as long as they are not due to some contamination between the film and glass, very likely will disappear after a few days in the sun.

Small folds in window tinting usually won’t go away on their own and are often caused by trapped air or improper application techniques. To fix this, use a high-quality squeegee and smooth out the film from the center outward, working gently to remove air or moisture. Keep the film wet with a tinting solution during application to allow it to slide into place more easily. If folds remain, try a little heat with a hairdryer or heat gun to soften the adhesive, but be cautious not to overheat.
