hello,

so my husbands car (2014 Chevy Cruze) will not start. His check engine light came on and he had the codes read at o'really's and they told him it was his camshaft sensors. he replaced them and it started but then the next day the car shut off on him while he was driving. Now, cold morning starts it will not start at all. Sometimes when he jumps it, it will start but this morning it didn't work.
Could it be the wiring? bc he told me to start it and it won't start so he started messing with the wiring and then it started.
It's not the battery because the battery is new - barely months old. Can't be the starter or the alternator. Or is it?

Need help pls.

Thanks you.

Only way to know for sure about battery/alternator is voltage readings. Was it an after market sensor or OEM? Some models are very particular about OEM sensors.

I'm not sure, I know he bought it from O'reillys.

I read somewhere that when installing new sensors you need to reset them or something like that...do you know anything about that?

I'm not sure. Odds are it's an after market You have to check the battery voltage static and when cranking. What wires was he moving around?

he was moving the camshaft wiring I think.

The only reset I know of is for the computer.
