Girlfriends car engine light is on, very unfortunate now that it's getting cold and she can't remote start. Codes 2635 and 2096. During the summer I noticed it was harder and harder starting, having to turn over for a few seconds before it'd start. She brought it to the dealership and they said it was just the summer heat boiling the fuel in the lines after she turns it off. Now it's colder, problem hasn't gone away and I can't erase the codes with my scan tool. I'm assuming it needs a new fuel pump. Is dropping the tank a difficult job? Is there a cause I'm overlooking?
