Brake pads

Hi,

regarding the brake pads, what is your recommendation for the friction material to Buick GN daily driver, actually some hundred miles in the summer time.... The disks/hubs/rotors are original.

For instance, are the semi-metallic pads ok or what? I mean, that some materials will wear the disks more quickly than others, but in my use, some hundred miles in a year....

Premium quality semi metallic pads are fine, premium rotors also. "Bedding" them in properly is important.

I have ordered RockAuto regarding brake pads with the some service parts. They are semi-metallic ones, part number is Dynamic frictions 155 101 5401.

So is it an good choice or not? If not, I have to do the new order, no problem.

in addition, I don`t renew the original rotors, because they are both in a good condition.

So, some additional information is welcome, if needed.

I've never used those pads so I don't know.

Same here never heard of them, with new pads the rotors must be absolutely no grooves or outer edge lip.
