1993 TransSport 3.8L

We all know how poor the door handles are on these GM products. The lock on the liftgate hatch at the rear of my 93TS is broken again. That wingnut shaped pot metal thing that takes the key, and turns to unlatch the door... well... they are garbage.
I am looking for a lock cylinder, or T handle or something to replace that factory setup. Do the passenger door locks fit the rear door? Has anybody tried a T handle?
The trouble with the original wingnut shaped black potmetal thing is that people naturally try to pull the heavy door up with it. It breaks off. If I can install just the lock like the front doors people will grab the door at the bottom like you should do.

Thanks for that part number Blue (AC DELCO D1458F) had to look quite awhile but I found one at The Wrench Monkey parts, in Canada. I'm in Alberta, so that is perfect. $37.00 CAD after taxes delivered.
