I also do vehicle modeling. I design, create, paint, polish and accesorize my models also. Except, my models are done on the computer...3D Modeling. I can do everthing you guys do to your models to my models, but with way more detail, and posibly a better outcome, also to most it is easier, and cheaper (depending on the program used).
I have made many, but only have 3 models to show. Non of them are finished!

Exactly...

I like to build my models myself with my own 2 hands....3D modelling is great, but I like something I can display on a shelf when I am done....not a file that can get corrupted or lost.

:werd: plus soem people find modeling with their hands alot easier than tryoing to manipulate 3d things on a 2d screen

I used to make 3d models too. But I'm having a little break now :D. Gotta try something new. And it's got boring. I was making those cars for a game. Need for Speed 4 :icon16: . But as I said, it's got boring.

...these are REALLY simple 3D models- low-poly is only for games. if you really wanna get into editing in 3D try curves and nurbs... rhino is good to start with- one you have your basic model, you can pull and warp and sharpen areas to your taste- and change colour and add pearlescent paint by using a color block without havin to change textures. also, with NURBS, unlimited polys! so if you need a photo-render, you can have super-high poly levels, and if you decide you want to put it in game, just tell it to lower poly levels and build

it is as har dto do a really good low poly mesh as doing a good highpoly render model.

and what if i wanna edit games?
