Someone rear ended my baby

Yeah, so it happened. somebody rear ended me last night :( but before you go and get these awful pictures in your head of a destroyed 240, let me tell you that it was only like 2 mph that she hit me at. It was some old bitch talking on her cell phone and not paying attention in stop and go traffic. Just the screw from her license plate left a nice little mark on my bumper. Since it was so small I agreed that I wouldn't contact the insurance company as long as she agreed to pay for it. So I got all her info and shit and am going to take it to a shop tomorrow to get it fixed. I still told her I was going to need her insurance info anyways in case if she thought she'd be slick and give me false info and her get away. she gave me the insurance info also no problem. here's a pic of it. when she first hit me I was soooo pissed off. :mad: hehe

someone hit me going about 5mph, we both got out of the car, said we're cool with it and left.... dont want to go through all that insurance crap and raises because you were in an "accident"..... we just got in our cars and left, over in about 20 seconds. my hit wasn't nearly as noticeable as yours though :cool:

thats nothing. jspec you should come to nyc. and you would know what its to just leave your car parked out on the streets. people just hit you when you try to park behind your or in front of you becasue the spaces in nyc are sooo tight. i remember that i came out of my girl's apartment to find a 4 door acura legend's front bumper resting on my rear!! of course my rear bumper was ruined the 3rd week it came out of the body shop. but i was pist anyways!! so i took my key and keyed up his bumper. that bastard!!! he didn't even care that his bumper was just sittin on top of my rear!! he got what he deserved. sometimes i wished that i would key that fucker up even more.

edit: and oh yeah, they hit your side view mirrows and they sometimes actually crash into your parked car if its parked on a corner too. those bastards!!:banghead:

that's why you really shouldn't car about your body unless you have a show car.... my car has dings and dents all over it, i dont give a shit.

I went to a couple of shops today and got quotes. I see where these shops make all their money from.... for something this small the cheapest I found was $105. Most expensive was $195. I think I'm gonna tell her I'm taking it to the shop that costs 195 and get her to pay me. Then I'll take it to the cheaper one and I'll have $90 or so extra bucks in my pocket. haha

well, i would do that if the person was a jerk about it, and if the accident was a little more damage.. but still not work calling insurance.

i hit a volvo in my old POS ford explorer and the bitch gets out looks at her car, then says nothing is wrong with my car. so she gets in her car and drives off. i sat there stunned for a sec then hauled ass outta there. i was lucky

lets not forget about the youths of nyc.. we sit on your car hood, brace up on your car.. pull off emblems.. take your center cap off your rims.. take off anything that can be unscrewed off.. i like takin unscrewing those stupid led well lights and leaving it on the guys hood..:icon16:

Dude, that's nothing. I just got my front right corner wrecked. I was driving through a parking lot and some idiot decided he was going to back out without looking right as I was going by. There was nothing I could do. Now my right front fender and front bumper are totalled, not too mention the damage underneath. And all this from a 10mph accident. Needless to say I'm not happy.
