Tires wearing out. Balanced, rotated, and aligned regularly

I am struggling with goodyear tires. 2015 hyundai sonata.

I started with a goodyear assurance tire. Rated at 60k miles only made it 25k miles. they upgraded me to a goodyear maxlife tire. Rated at 85k miles. Again only lasted 25k miles. Both the assurance and the maxlife tires were rotated and balanced regularly and I purchased an alignment package so the car was aligned every 6 months. Still tires only lasted 25k miles. I am not a crazy driver. Why are they wearing so fast?!?!?!!?!?! The wear is even across the tire but only 25k miles on a 85k mile tire!!!! Goodyear is giving me a great deal to replace the maxlifes with new ones but if im only getting 25k miles out of theses tires clearly something is happening im not aware of.

The suspension is not loose also. Ball joints, brackets, and all other suspension parts are solid.

Any information would be greatly appreciated. Are goodyears bad tires?

No answer here, but a friend had the same issues with Goodyear tires on his 2008 Rav4. Never got it resolved with complaints to the company. What brand tire did you have lasted longer.

Most tire wear occurs in the cornering mode. That means that driving in a straight line (country driving) is practically free, where lots of turns (city driving) wears tires quickly.

What that also means is that in spite of the warranty, treadwear can be all over the ballpark - even 25K on 85K tires!

I do mostly city driving. Maybe that's it. I don't drive a lot. 2015 only have 70k miles on it. It's just so frustrating to go threw tires so fast. They aren't cheep lol.

I don't know where you live, but country driving here is lots of curves and turns. There isn't a straight anywhere but the towns and cities.

It's the kinds of turns that makes the difference. Country = smooth and wide radius. City = one ninety-degree turn after another! lol

And also how one takes those turns. If you do 60-80 out in the country, you'll wear your front shoulders as quickly as you would in the city.

This is one of those situations where inexpensive tires are called for. What you want is an inexpensive tire with a high UTQG rating. That means an off brand.

Yes, there is a risk that inexpensive might also mean poorly made, so you have to choose which is more important to you.
