Cars sold in other countries?

I know that most car makers sell cars in other countries. In USA, people expect cars to have power brakes, power steering, automatic transmission, air conditioning, power windows, power door locks, nice interior, and fancy electronics. What about cars sold in other countries?

I know yrs ago you could import 1 car in your name that didn't meet safety standards. It was call "Gray Market Vehicles". People used this to import luxury cars. ie windshield glass, bumpers, doors didn't mean DOT standards. Don't know about now.

I get your drift. Just by casual observation, I noticed that in the Philippines, only one out of five cars seems to have a sun/moonroof - the opposiite of their presence here in North America.
