Sentra beat a Maxima?!?!

:biggrin2: I have a guy a work who is willing to put up $500 that his 92 Sentra (stick) can beat my 99 Maxima SE (auto)! I sincerely believe his talking sh*t and I'm really considering taking him on, just wanted to make sure that there is no way his baby is that strong even with an engine swap which he says he has but I pretty sure it its all talk. What do you guys think!?

it depends. auto maxima's are a lil sluggish and if he has an Se-R engine it'll be a good race. if he's for real about the swap and has like an sr-turbo, then you're fucked
i had a 200sx Se-r and it was pretty quick. and the sentra's are lighter. try betting like $50

as far as the topic goes, if he's willing to bet $500, he prolly knows what he is talking about. i wouldn't do it. ask to look under the hood first :naughty:

I'll take a look but just a while ago he was saying how he couldn't afford a body kit and now he swapped out his engine...I'll take a look and keep ya posted...lol and that engine I posted earlier was from a skyline that was up to 900HP!!!! SICK!!!:sunglasse

shouldnt be too hard to believe. If he's highly modified and your stock why cant he beat you?

Reminds me of one night, some kid in Worcester wanted to race me in my (then stock) maxima, he had a riced out Integra... 500 bucks... I just told the loser to just hand me the 5 large, cuz I would smoke his sorry ass :D
