2003 Silverado A/C stops cooling when hot

When the truck runs for about 20 minutes, the compressor clutch disengages and stops turning. I checked both pressure switches and they aren’t the problem. When I shut off the engine for a couple minutes it starts working again. Anyone have any ideas what’s going on?
