Wipers parking

My wiper blades get crushed...well bent...from sitting on the windshield. I replace them but I notice those plastic blocks where they stop. Some cars have ramps that lift the wipers off the glass when parked thus keeping them ready to use except for weathering. I don't see hoe the wiper arms can get up on the Buick 'stop blocks'. It also seems that my passengers side wiper is slightly higher when parked.

Any suggestions?

I also noticed how hard it is to find just wiper blades and not buy the whole stinking arm assy. I think the wiper folks are making changing wipers an expensive deal. At 30 to 40 bucks, no wonder the parts houses are happy to install them! LOL
